PUBLICATIONS
Two publications were issued in 2019:
Application of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Mineral Trading Companies in Colombia.
The Alliance for Responsible Mining and the Colombian Mining Observatory (OCMI in Spanish), together with the OECD, implemented a capacity-building program in late 2018 that brought together the different actors in the sector to analyze the challenges and opportunities arising from the application of these international recommendations in the Colombian context.
This booklet was designed as a practical and educational tool for trading companies and other supply chain actors to understand the roadmap with which sector risks are identified and mitigated.
I am a proud woman miner – A guide for an empowered woman miner
This booklet was made together with women miners of the Sugamuxi province in Boyacá, Colombia, who are members of the Association of Women Mining Entrepreneurs (AMME in Spanish).
It is intended to guide women working in mining to avoid, manage and identify discrimination and gender-based violence in the sector, by following a series of recommendations.
