Sustainable Development Goals we support in the Department of Nariño:

- 31 mining operators and workers of the Coodmilla mining organization received training in first aid from the SENA, also in skilled labor and labor matters related to hiring, social benefits, legal deductions, non-fiscal payments, health systems and hiring Venezuelan migrants.
- Review of the internal work rules and advice on accounting and tax issues for the Coodmilla mining organization.
- We also supported La Fortaleza mining organization by focusing on tracking ore and facilitating the appointment of the head of internal control in the organization. Training in labor, organizational, and health and safety matters was also provided to this organization.
- We have supported the implementation of traceability records and daily progress of production records in each mine.

- Consulting and training in solid and tailings management, sampling for acidity analysis in each mining unit in the Coodmilla organization.
- Measuring water quality parameters downstream of the Coodmilla mining organization's discharge.
- Supporting the acquisition of land for the construction of a powder magazine in the Coodmilla mining organization.
- Assessing subsistence mining groups in El Vergel (La Llanada) and Campo Bello (Los Andes- Sotomayor) rural settlements. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the National Taxes and Customs Directorate (DIAN), 31 miners from Campo Bello have obtained their Single Tax Registration (RUT) document, the first step towards formalization.
- The strategy for occupational health and safety was based on the development of the Coodmilla organization's training program and permanent support from the territory's professionals in training for 23 mining units.
- We also supported La Fortaleza mining organization by restoring the area occupied by the previous processing plant.

- Assisting in reopening Coodmilla’s bank account.
- The Coodmilla mining organization has sold gold three times under the CRAFT Code and has updated its CRAFT report, which reflects the organization’s progress on due diligence, human rights and environmental issues, among others.
- It was possible to get another buyer under the CRAFT standard criteria.

- 3 governance spaces: 2 spaces at the local level and 1 space at the regional level included the participation of miners, government institutions (DIAN, Chamber of Commerce, Government’s Office of Nariño) and civil society (EITI).
- ARM also participated in the first meeting of the Regional Security Group within the Inter-administrative Cooperation Agreement, where a course of action has been established to strengthen artisanal miners on various subjects such as handling of hazardous chemicals, labor hiring, confined spaces, among others.
