Sustainable Development Goals we support in Southern Bolívar:

Strengthening civil society organizations by providing training on child labor and occupational health and safety issues, as well as work-related aspects, so that they may be able to understand and address these issues.

Creating and validating participatory tools for identifying occupational health and safety and child labor risks in cooperation with the competent authorities.

A national meeting was organized by the Pilares project in Bogotá to exchange experiences, showcase projects and draft a document to support network efforts. The projects were shared with the local, regional and national government and other entities such as the Colombian Family Welfare Institute (ICBF), the Ministry of Labor, the municipal elderly and family committees, the National Training Service (SENA), the Secretaries of Mines and Energy and the departmental government bodies that work in favor of children, adolescents and young people.
